Year 4 is certainly a year of progress. It is a crucial stage in your child's educational journey. This year is designed to nurture both personal and academic growth, ensuring a smooth transition from Lower Key Stage 2 into Year 5.

In Year 4, our pupils are encouraged to take on more responsibility and develop greater independence in their learning and daily routines. We have an exciting and broad curriculum which is crafted to broaden their knowledge and enhance their skills across a variety of subjects, of course with a strong focus on strengthening their abilities in English and Maths - with a strong emphasis on times tables to prepare them for the statutory multiplication check at the end of the year.

Throughout the year, students will sharpen their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, improve their communication abilities, and build confidence and independence through a range of projects and interactive activities, including Bikeability. They will also have opportunities to join extracurricular clubs and participate in inspiring educational trips.

While academic excellence is a key focus, we also emphasise the emotional and social development of our pupils. Our dedicated teaching staff are committed to supporting each child in achieving their personal best, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

We look forward to a year filled with discovery, growth, and memorable moments in Year 4 at TRPS. Together, let's make it an outstanding year!
